about

Three tunes were used for this track (see credits) : this arrangement is part of the Scots Wha Hae show that I run for a few years (since 2009) with the Great Highland Bagpipe and my Scottish traditional outfit.
The track itself has been named after William Wallace, the Scottish national hero.

lyrics

First tune : Scots Wha Hae (by Robert Burns)

Scots wha hae wi' Wallace bled
Scots wham Bruce has aften led
Welcome tae yer gory bed
Or tae victorie
(…/…)
Lay the proud usurper low
Tyrants fall in every foe
Liberty's in every blow
Let us do or dee

Second tune : Flower of Scotland (by Roy Williamson-The Corries)

O Flower of Scotland
When will we see your like again
That fought and died for
Your wee bit Hill and Glen
And stood against him
Proud Edward's Army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again
(…/…)
