about

Well, I’m sure you already know the first tune! It’s the second movement of the New World Symphony by Antonín Dvořák; the melody has been integrated to Scottish repertoire as a lament : that’s a pretty nice introduction to the nostalgia claimed in this track.
The second tune is of course part of Sir Paul McCartney’s hudge repertoire, often played with a pipe-band (the first one was Campbeltown’s pipeband).
The last tune - to end the track with some rhythm - is a very old one about some ancient battle where the fighters wearing trousers (« breeks ») instead of kilts were able to ride horses and to escape from the battlefield…

lyrics

First tune (Going Home):

Going home, going home
I'll be going home
See the Light, see the sun
I'm just going home
